Waqas Ahmed, born on February 22, 1989, in Sialkot, is a right-arm fast bowler who has built his career in Pakistan’s domestic circuit. He made his first-class debut in 2008 for Sialkot and went on to play for teams like State Bank of Pakistan and the Sialkot Stallions. In first-class cricket, he has taken over 220 wickets, with best figures of 7/37, showcasing his ability as a strike bowler. He also featured in List A and T20 domestic competitions, contributing steadily with the ball.

Though he never broke into Pakistan’s senior international side, his domestic performances made him a valuable fast-bowling option for his regional and departmental teams
