Pushkar Sharma’s cricket journey began in Jalgaon, Maharashtra, India, where his talent was spotted early, leading him to captain the Mumbai Under-16 team alongside future stars like Prithvi Shaw and Yashasvi Jaiswal. Despite early promise, opportunities in India were limited, and in 2019 he moved to Kenya to pursue his cricketing ambitions. Joining Ruaraka Sports Club in the NPCA Super Division, he quickly made a name for himself, scoring heavily—including 841 runs in a season—and became one of the most consistent performers. His success earned him a call-up to the Kenya national team in 2022, where he made his T20I debut against Saint Helena.
