Abdul Waheed
Batsman
KSA
Abdul Waheed’s cricket story began on the dusty grounds of Riyadh, where he played tennis-ball matches with friends after school. His talent was quickly noticed in local leagues, and he rose through the ranks of the Riyadh Cricket Association with explosive batting displays. His big break came in 2020 when he debuted for Saudi Arabia in a T20I against Kuwait. From there, he became a national hero, famously scoring a T20I century against Bahrain in a World Cup Qualifier. His dream has always been to play at a global ICC event and inspire Saudi youth to take cricket seriously. Each run he scores brings him closer to that vision.
